I recently purchased a used 1990 white A package with limited slip. The original owner got the car in July of '89 (and paid nearly $26K out the door!) and kept the car meticulusly clean even though it has 39K miles on it. I plan to use the car for a daily driver and occaisional Autox vehicle, and would like some pointers to good books about setting up Miatas. I ordered the factory workshop manuals from Helm, but I have heard about some "Special Tuning" book. Does such a beast exist? Does anyone have a good set of numbers for an autocross alignment? (David Kay, you out there?) How about some info for a Miata Owners of America or the address of Miata magazine? So far, this is the first (of about 20) car I have bought that didn't have something that bothered me enough to want to spend $300 to fix. That's saying a lot comming from me. Boy this list is kinda slow....maybe this will spice things up a bit. The new MGB is like trying to make a goldfish out of a terrier: legs off, fins on, tube through the back of the head so it can breathe, bit of gold paint, make good. -sfisher@wsl.pa.dec.com Miq Millman -- miq@sgi.com or {decwrl, pyramid, ucbvax}!sgi!miq 415 335 1041
