From: (none) Subject: HR speakers; tire recommendations? Date: (none)
I found in the archive for this group (which I just recently joined) a mention of a Miata magazine tip on the headrest speakers being out of phase. I installed mine soon after buying the car two years ago. They've always been barely audible at best; perhaps they're not hooked up correctly. Would someone who has the article summarize it to the list? And here's one that'll either open a can of worms or go totally ignored: What are the best tires for street use on the stock alloy rims? The one that seems to get the most favorable mentions in the archive is the Yokohama 185/60-14 AVS Intermediate. Anyone think the Dunlop D60 M2 (also the standard 185/60-14 size) or D40 M2 (wider, lower 195/55-14) would be better? Please send any tire recommendations directly to me; I'll summarize to the list if there are enough responses. _________________________________________________________________ James Miller -- developing Unix software at (!)
