I've seen several recommendations for this "Redline MTL" in one's gearbox but no description of it. What does it do better than 'regular' gear oil? Is it a gear oil or a gear oil additive? If it's an additive, what kind of gear oil goes with it? How expensive and difficult to obtain is it? Is anyone running it in a very hot climate (it is now officially summertime in Texas!), where 80W-90 would be preferable to 75W-90 (the two viscosities recommended in the owner's handbook). Has anyone been running it long enough to see what comes *out* of the gearbox before a change? Does Mazda have any opinion on its use? Please respond to me directly, and I'll summarize to the list. _________________________________________________________________ James Miller -- developing Unix software at (!)
