Hi there- I keep hearing that one mustn't lower the top of a Miata while it is wet. I have been violating this dictum on a regular (albeit short-term) basis and have not detected any deleterious effects. I haven't put the top down while it was *really* wet (not while raining or anything, but rather after morning dew, drizzle or washing the car), but it would seem a drag to come out in the AM to a gorgeous day but not be able to enjoy it topless. I have about a 30 minute commute, after which the top usually comes up (always when wet...). Am I hurting anything to leave the top down while damp for the 30 minute commute? What's the rationale behind the "no fun while wet" warning? Thanks for your responses...
