hi .. You know .. that is what i like about this group. There is always some one out there that you can share the highs/lows and good & bads , with .. Anyway .. I have a 1990 Miata purchased in Sept '89. I also experience this clicking sound. Only when iI am in a tight spot and crank the wheels full left and go .. I thought i t might have been caused by changing the shocks and sway bar. I've inspected the front end hundreds of times because I am always changing the tires from street rubber to race rubber, and back .. And all looked in order, so I didnt give it any further thought. I don't remember hearing it before I started taking the 'lil dear apart. (;^) The next time I call Mazda Motorsports , I'll ask them about it. ok.. Sound system.. I have the stock package A system in my car and I am not considering any upgrade . I would rather hear the noise from the headers then the booming bass. BTW.... I have the 1990 Miata Shop Manual.... so if anyone wants/needs the particular pages relating to the radio, speakers, headrest speakers, running the wires , etc etc .. then i will gladly FAX the appropriate pages to you. It would be my pleasure. I have received tons of information from Miatians over the net .. and I would like to give something back... thank you ...
