Go for it, I have MT-90 (mixed with a bit of MTL, because I spilled the 
MT-90 while changing) in my 90 Miata, and it has made a tremendous improvement
(this was not the case with my 67 Alfa Duetto or my 85 GTV6). I can't wait
until the winter where the advantage in cold weather shifting will really show.
Rod Millen requires their customers to switch to  RedLine with the short-shift
kit.
