FYI -- I installed the Sears cruise control kit (as described in Miata Magazine) in my Miata this weekend. If anyone is thinking about doing the same and has a question ("I think I want one but I want someone else to try it first"), feel free to ask. Capsule review: Installation was a pain and took an entire afternoon (for me, anyway, working alone) but the kit works well. MM has run the cruise control installation article twice, and the two differ. It helps to have both articles side-by-side when installing so you can see what has changed. Also, the most recent article names a NAPA part number which costs over $100, but Sears automotive centers still sell the original (same kit, I believe) for about $80. I have also ordered some more toys, including the track bar (hasn't arrived yet) and the lighted mirror (arrived with the glass broken, waiting for replacement; makes me wonder how sturdy it will be on the road). Like the cruise control, feel free to ask any questions. -- Michael J. Abbott mja@kpc.com Kubota Pacific Computer Inc. Santa Clara, CA 408-987-3303
