I noticed that when the window was rolling up or down, at the half way point it made a clunk sound with a slight but noticable shift in the glass. I returned it to the dealer thinking they only needed adjustment and they replaced the lift under warranty. I asked in 90 if this was a problem since both came out of adjustment at the same time to which they said no. When the same thing happened in my 91, I asked again and got the same response. I have talked to other owners and no one else has reported the problem so either I am too sensitive to the sounds my car makes or I got the only two cars with this problem. Once replaced, no problem. I just had two problems in a very short span of time, which might be coincidentally rather than causally related. 1. Driving long distance on a hot, humid, RAINY night, water started squirting onto the passenger side floor. Since it was dark, and I was zooming along in the left hand lane of a major highway, I couldn't tell whether the water was rainwater getting in from the outside or something else. A few days later it happened again in humid (but not rainy) daylight, while I had the A/C running. It was the A/C leaking. I mentioned this to my father, and he said the same thing happened to him on his 323. Is this a common Mazda problem? 2. My windows have been getting steadily slightly stickier over the past year. The day after the water venting incident, I parked my car in a garage with the windows cracked open about an inch so things could dry out a little. When I got back, they were hard to crank up to fully closed, and then impossible to get down past the one inch mark. Could there be a connection between this and all the somewhat damp atmosphere? I took the car in for my 15K servicing the next day, and they fixed the A/C problem, and ordered "window regulators" to fix the windows. But until they come in I have to drive around with the windows up, and since we all know how de classe it is to have the top down and the windows up, I suffer in confinement. --Skef
