If you're talking about the defroster slit in the dash, I have the
same problem, although it only shows up once in a while.

Vis a vis my exhaust problem, fischer@ncsa.uiuc.edu pointed out
(regarding his exhaust system):

Mine also seems to be affected by temperature and/or humidity,
although it may be my imagination.
