When Steve is installing the BBR Turbo he has to remove the engine. Would it be wise to have the crankshaft and the flywheel balanced. We used to do this on engines when we prepared them for racing. Apparantly the manufacturer never balanced things as well as a specialized shop could. I wonder if this is still the case. Removing the crankshaft should not be that difficult once the engine is out of the car. I'm asking since I my Miata seems to vibrate more than the one I had previously. especially between high rev shifts. Does anyone have any comments on this. Maybe one of the lighter Miata flywheels I have seen would be nice to have. The Japanese M2 is suppose to have a lighter flywheel, according to the German auto mag. Auto Motor und Sport.
