Wouldn't it be nice to work on your car's interior (or clean it) with the door open, while listening to the stereo, or using any other accessory that demands power (e.g., an Auto-Dustbuster)? Isn't it irritating to listen to the incessant buzzer reminding you that you've "forgotten" the key in the ignition? There's a great solution to this problem. The door switch (a small black cylinder attached to each door sill with a rubber gasket) is mounted to the frame with a single phillips-head screw. Merely loosen this screw a few turns. This breaks the switch's path to ground, effectively disabling the switch. The buzzing stops. It takes two seconds to loosen the screw, and two more seconds to tighten it when you're done working on the car. Enjoy, Josh
