I take my Miata to Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed. The first time I took it there was roughly one year ago. None of the people there could get the filter off. Finally, the service manager gave it a go. Well, instead of getting the filter off, he managed to cut his arm fairly bad. Now, everytime I go there, he likes to show me the scar that he got from trying to remove the filter. To complete the above (rather lame) story, I should mention that they were eventually able to remove the filter without explosives or other drastic measures. Apparently, the filter was installed very tightly before it was delivered. Jiffy Lube has had no problems since then. Tim Kelley tkelley@sunny.dab.ge.com
