Mazda sells (of course) the correct filter wrench for a reasonable price.  
Since no one in their right mind would ever sell the car except to buy another
one, it is worth getting.  Mazda has finally agreed on a filter size, so if 
you buy your filters from Mazda (you should even if Jiffy Lube does the 
change) the wrench will fit.

I purchased a trunk light from Pep Boys that is switched.  I prefer that to 
the mercury switched model in the magazine.  It was about $5 as compared to 
the $25 for the automatic one.  I direct wired it to the battery and sticky 
taped it next to the center brake light on the boot cover.

Kmart sells a headlight reminder switch for just a few dollars and is easy to 
install.  Mazda should have put these items in the car.

Other subject:  Are many of you out there members of the Miata Club of America
or of local Miata clubs or chapters?
