The most recent CRUTCHFIELD catalogue lists several CD changers which can be installed in the trunk of many cars (including the MIATA) and used with the factory installed radio. In some cases it seems that the CD is connected thru the FM antenna, and the sound heard by tuning the radio to 88.3 or 88.7. What is most appealing about this is that the price is one half of the dealer quoted price of $1000. For example, the SONY 10 disc changer goes for $450. What has been the experience with CD's in the miata: 1) changers vs. in-dash 2) is there really room in the trunk anyway ? 3) the sound quality when you tune in thru the FM radio ? 4) does the rough ride of the miata (at least the way I drive) cause a lot of skipping ? 5) where do you put the wireless remote ? Thanks in advance for any reflections, Leif
