Subject: 15K maintenance - what do they do?

I'm almost to the point where I'll be at 15,000 miles on my Miata.
I've had virtually zero problems with this car.  I'd like to take it
in to the dealer for the 15,000 mile maintenance, since I have not
had it in before, and presumably they can hook it up to the diagnostic
computer and see if it thinks anything needs adjusting.  I'm still in
the warranty period, so this seems like a smart thing to do.  However,
I do not want to pay them for doing easy stuff that I do myself anyway -
changing oil, spark plugs, filters, etc.  So, my questions are:
What are the "normal" tasks for 15K maintenance, and how much should
it cost me?  Can I negotiate with them to only perform the tasks
that I want?  Is the dealer the place to go or can I get this done
better/cheaper somewhere else?
