I think it's a ton 'o fun. Not all of us Marylanders keep their tops raised... With the exception of driving others around (who can't understand the hot-fudge-sunday affect), I tend to keep mine down... I've noticed the same thing though... I've only seen one other Miata on the way to work who habitually keeps his top down... (Do you go westbound on 32 in the mornings?) > This is the first fall for me in a convertible, and I want to know if > it wears off. Will I be top-down in late Oct. of next year? Ditto... > Am I gonna *really* hate this car this winter? (I expect no more than 2 > days where there is visible snow cover). Actually, I'm cheating... My main winter car is a '79 Subaru Station Wagon with 4wd... My main worry about driving in the winter isn't the cold, but the junk they throw on the roads whenever a little bit of snow falls... I'm not worried about Puff (the tragic wagon) getting scratched from the dirt, but I'm protective over my Miata... > I heard that Al gore bought Tipper a miata! ;) Even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and again... ;^) John -- John William Keating, III | Not affiliated with those other guys.... -+=< Cray Communications, Inc. >=+- +----------------------------------------- formerly: Dowty Communications Inc. | If you do something stupid after reading keating%casemo@mimsy.cs.umd.edu | this message, it is your own fault, not 73737.733@compuserve.com | mine nor the company I work for. -me- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Goldenstern's Rules: 1.
