Jim,

You seem to be at that critical height where sunvisor
removal is worthwhile.  At 5'8", the sunvisor is a good
thing to have around for me.  Let me know how you 
three band detector works.  I like my Solo alot, so
I am going to sit on the fence with it until everyone
sorts out all these multi-band and laser detectors
