I asked the dealer about it and they mumbled something about needing a special glue. My guess is that they would just use the same glue over again which would separate again soon after. So I didn't bother. It doesn't seem to hurt anything leaving them loose, except it looks ugly. If you intend to use a cyanoacrylate you should make sure first that it won't damage the vinyl material -- if it decides to eat through you'll have a hole in your top.
