I'm not sure I'd use a cyanoacrylate because I've not had successful experiences with them on pourous surfaces. I would think that an adhesive more suited to leather or vinyl (I'm thinking Barge cement or Duco cement here) would be more satisfactory. What kind of cement is used for patching vinyl tops? Since velcro is cheap and vinyl tops are not I think I'd be more concerned about what effect the glue will have on the vinyl than the velcro, provided it will stick to vinyl and velcro. I briefly considered stitching the velcro to the top, then sealing the threads with tent seam sealer, but nixed the idea based on what I percieved as a high pain-in-the-ass factor. Anybody else have this problem and any good ideas for fixing it? Steve
