There is a service bulletin out on a hesitation problem that som '90 Miatas have. I would guess that this is your problem. Call Mazda's customer relations department if the dealer can't get a clue and maybe they can point you in the right direction. If you still have a problem I can check the back issues of _Miata Magazine_ I know I've seen it mentioned there. Your SplitFire plugs should last at least 30,000 miles. I replace mine after 35,000 and they were still OK (though they needed to be re-gapped). BTW: I'm over 60,000 miles now and no problems for 35,000 miles. I *did* have the clutch replaced at 23,000 (on warrentee), this is another common '90 problem. 12,500 does seem a bit low for that, however. Mazda customer relations is (800) 222-5500. - Alan
