Reply to: RE>Tires (plug for 509) This is another plug for the A509 Yokos, I have used many tires (P7, A008, RE-71, etc.. mostly on my old 911, which eats rear tires in less than 10k miles) and in my opinion, the 509 sticks well enough for the streets, they also have better wear rating than the stock SF-325 Bridgestone (140 vs 120). They are fantastic in the rain, don't know about snow yet. I am using the 195-15VR50 mounted on the Panasports, my car is BBR turbocharged, and I don't feel undertired at all. The stock tires suck the big one in comparison, they ought to be outlawed, they have no redeeming value what so ever. p.s. Did I say I REALLY HATE the stock tires!!? - STeve. >Other contenders: Yokohama A509s > Bridgestone Potenza HP-41s > Dunlop D60 M2s >These are all lower-priced, lower performance cousins to the ones I've >listed above. If your money is tight or the demands you make on your >tires are less rigorous, any of these -- especially the A509s -- would >be an excellent choice.
