I have a 1990 Miata Red Package A, limited slip, with air which is slightly over 3 years old with about 15,000 miles. It is in excellent condition and has been very well maintained. My local Mazda dealer is willing to accept it for a trade in for a 1992 or 1993 Miata. Cost would be my car + %6,400 for a 1993 Package B or $5,900 for a 1993 package A. The comparable 1992 Package A or B would be each $500 less than the 1993 models. Has anybody traded in their Miata for another one? Do you think that these are good deals. My car is out of warantee and needs some routene work, brakes fluid changed, new brake pads, wheels aligned etc. Also in the next year other services as well as replacement of the battery and muffler will likely be required. All this will likely cost between $600 to $900. This might not be an appropriate post but I would like to find out from those who traded in their Miata for another if these prices or good or out of line. Thanks, Herb Samuels
