The Miata is a wonderful car, but for anyone that has demanding hobbies/lifestile, the car is just to small for people/stuff/weather. Trucks/util rigs are way to boring to drive unless you have to pull or like off road activity that demands ground clearance. I too have a Audi 4000 Quattro as my second car. I am a die hard skier/snowboarder and like to bicycle/windsurf/diver and standard 4WD does'nt hold a candle to fulltime FWD. It not only moves people in any weather, but I performed $24K worth of remodeling on a house without a truck. Just the Audi and a good roof rack and rope. I use to race the car, but since it is to hard on tires, I found the Miata. The most easy going stock race car on tires period! And when the sun is shinning... Well, you know. ---JCG
