I would like to ask you people a few questions.
I sent the following to the autox. list and a few people mentioned
that I might get better response by asking here.  (BTW please subscribe
me to this list)...  (I don't think I am subscribed yet.)

I just stoped by a local mazda dealer and ended up looking at the
miata.  I would like to hear from owners of the car (happy or
otherwise) about handling, maintenance, economy, and basic fun.  I am
not an autocross person (yet?)  I would also like to hear from local
people about which mazda dealers I should and shouldn't talk to.

The current plan is to sell the 911 (any one want a 77 911S ?) and buy
the miata sometime in early spring.  The miata gets much better fuel
economy, insurance, parts prices.....

I don't autox at this time because I figure I can get way in over my
head with the 911, the ford ranger has way too much body roll and wheelbase,
and the Yamaha FZ is generally frowned upon for autox.  The miata would
be a fuel efficient/convertable/commute/semi performance car.  But before
I buy one, I figured I would talk to people that have one.
