Hello everyone, I just took my 1991 Miata into the dealer to get it checked over before I take a long trip. One of the things I mentioned to the service manager was that the small velcro patches on the rear quarter area of the top have come unglued. The service manager told me that he'd replace my top under warrantee. Obviously, this sounds like a great deal to me, but I wanted to pass it by everyone on the list to see what potential problems I may have with a replacement top. For instance, will I start seeing leakage or hearing more wind noise with the top up? Also, do any of you have any of the luggage that fits in the back deck? I've been thinking of getting some, but it looks to me that it might be rather difficult to get the top up in a hurry (rain). Also, I don't want to damage the plastic window when the top is down. What are your thoughts on this? To put all of this in perspective, I live in Daytona Beach, Fl so I can keep the top down year round without having to wear gloves, a hat, or a jacket usually. I go to Atlanta (450 miles) and Clarksville, TN (750 mile) every now and then to visit family and friends. Thanks, Tim Kelley tkelley@sunny.dab.ge.com
