Subject: Front License Plate

Front license plate?  Never!  It totally ruins the lines of the car.  I live
in NJ where a front plate is required.  But I only put it on the car for about
1 hour every year when I take it for state inspection.  In almost 3 years, I
haven't gotten a ticket or even a warning.  Even if I do, its worth an 
occasional $25 ticket to keep the car looking good.  I suspect most cops are
sympathetic to the cause.  Besides you could always say "The damned thing fell
off and I haven't gotten it replaced yet."
