I also read that about 250,000 Miatas have been sold.  I think that it
was printed in the British magazines CAR or Performance CAR in the
January or February 1993 issues.  Only about 5000 Miatas have been
sold in Britian so this leaves about 125,000 to account for.  I thinkl
that alot have been sold in the Japanese market and 125,000 is
certainly possible there.
