I'm planning on getting an in-dash CD player/receiver installed in my
miata.

The ride in the miata is fairly stiff. 

Have people had problems with CD players skipping or any other problems
when driving over rough roads?

I imagine high end systems might perform better in this regard.
(I'm currently leaning towards an alpine with a removable face)
