Fellow enthusiasts,

As an audiophile as well as a Miataphile, I would like to install a high-
end stereo in my base model Miata. I will probably go with a Sony
trunk-mount CD changer, outboard amplifiers, and third-party headrest
speakers. My question is, is it possible to get good sound with only
headrest speakers, or does one need door speakers for imageing, full
range frequency response, etc? Any other advise on such an installation
would be appreciated as well.
