The headrest speakers are there basically to fill in the sound when you're driving with the top down. In fact, I'm of the opinion that if you put in a good pair of speakers in the door and provide a good amplifier, you really don't need headrest speakers. Many 6 1/2" two-ways fit in the stock door openings. Polk and Boston acoustics both make products that fit the bill. (Both have dome tweeters.) As far as other installation hints, check out the article I wrote about a year and a half ago (?), which should be in the mailing list archive. It has fairly detailed reccomendations, include part numbers for factory harnesses etc. (Without these numbers, your dealer won't believe you can buy them separately.) Josh
