Subject: okay, so do i "convert" my miata to a '93?

so, as everybody knows, the '93 Miatas have the
new corporate Mazda hood ornament.  should i get
one and "convert" my '90 into a '93, or not?

i always thought the Miata needed a nose ornament,
like they used on the Eunos Roadster version over
in Japan, so this might address that problem.
on the other hand, a co-worker of mine says
"don't do it, you'll just be trying to make your
Miata into something that it isn't (a '93)."

opinions anyone?
