I'll go along with the exterior of the Miata being comparable
to the Elan. Someone said the engine also was comparable. If that
were true, we would br running Solo II in A Stock. That's the
class the Elan's were in when I was Solo'ing a few years
ago. I'd love to have that performance in a rock stock Miata.

Of course if you raise the headlights (aka the AIR BRAKES),
the Miata looks like a Bugeye Sprite. The Bugeye kit is
available! It's cute, but you won't catch me doing that
my Miata.
