I have a two month old new 1992. Everything is great so far, convertible top sure beats the sun roof in my old CRX. Also is really handles better than a 89 CRX Si and I thought the CRX was great. I noticed last week a small dent in the trunk about where you would put your hand when you close it. It is not a bad dent, not very noticeable, but being a new car owner it does bother me. And I thought I was being careful when closing the trunk! Does the Miata have abnormally thin trunk panels? Is this kind of dent common? Is seems like it would be easy to push the dent out from the bottom, except the assembly for the lock is there with some reinforcement so you can't get to it. The dent is very small and you can only see it when looking from either side of the trunk, not the back. So I probably should not care. But still...
