I took a look at my gauge this morning after a good highway sprint. It read about 20 at idle. It came past 60 though during acceleration. I think it's always been this way. I've always used synthetic oil(changed every 6-7k) and have used Slick50 once (but probably never again after all that I've heard about oil additives.)
