I did it when the car was only about 1 month old :-(. I was trying to close the trunk with my elbow, because I was holding stuff in my hands. My elbow left a small dent, just near the edge by the lock. I was use to being able to do that with my Audi, for all you need to do with it is start it down, and it closed it's self. Well... The Miata trunk needs to be forced shut, thus the problem. Same problem with getting the dent out. I have seen and heard of so outfits that can pull small dings and dents without having to do bodywork. I've been told for about $50-$75 per dent. I am wanting to look into it, but have not taken the time due to the dents small nature. ---JCG.
