I used a little of that metal bracket material used to install stereos. The bracket material resembles the stuff you tear of of computer paper meant for tractor-feed printers. Basically a thin strip of sheet-metal with a line of holes in it. Anyways, I used it to mount some tweeters in the headreast. As far as wiring goes, I fished the speaker wires down the inside of the seat fabric. I then ran the wires under the carpet by fishing them again. I used some black zip-tubing around any exposed wires for a factory appearance. In my case I used tweeters and they seem to work fine. I had to buy an extra set for the other seat though. I personally feel that most companies are charging WAY too much for the headrest speakers I've seen advertised. The speakers are Sony HLS-55's. If you're ever in the Mountain View area during the work day I can show you most of what I did. mark > Has anyone succeeded in installing headrest speakers on their own > (i.e. without having a dealer do it)?
