I just picked up a '93 three weeks ago. (I live in central Jersey)
I got a deal of 16K (before tax) for:

'93 base model with package A (ps, headrest speakers, power mirrors,
leather covered steering wheel, alloy wheels)
In addition, limited slip differential, A/C, floor mats.

The price is about 2K below list.
This car was the only one in the lot at that time. 
I stopped by the dealer last week to pick up the plates and
noticed that they got two new ones in, one is the base model,
the other is equipped with package B and the hard top.

A co-worker of mine got her '92 Miata last April from the same
dealer and also got a price about 2K below list.
