Hi..
 Some one posted to me something about the legality of the catalytic 
converter in CSP. Off the top of my head ,  i was pretty sure that it was NOT
necessary to have one. Keep in mind that I am NOT considering the implications
as to the street LEGAL status of such an exhaust system.
ANYWAY ... this is from the  '93 SCCA Solo II rule book:
14.10e
Emission control devices maybe modifide or removed.

14.10h
Exhaust manifolds and muffler systems are free, except that they must 
 be quiet and terminate behind the driver.

====================== That's it, as per the rules for Street Prepared cars.
All in all.. any decent SP car is trailered in, anyway    (;^)  !!!!
