I am replacing my factory CD player on my Miata with a Sony DAT deck with CD changer controls. I ordered a smart switch from Crutchfield that can switch on and off the radio when the DAT/CD turns on (it is controlled by the amplifier control lead from the DAT/CD deck). The problem is that the smart switcher needs a shorting plug. This plug is supposed to be plugged into the back of the factory radio when you don't have a factory CD player. Without this plug, the amp doesn't turn on. Does anyone out there have a plug they don't need? I called up Mazda parts and they told me that I had to buy a radio or factory CD changer to get this plug :( Or if someone has this plug handy, show me how it is wired so I can make one myself. Thanks, Allen
