The Miata design engineers have said over and over in the MCA magazine NOT to go through car washes with the Miata. No maybe, just never, ever under any condition. They never discussed potential damage, but everytime a reader writes in with this question their response is definite. I would guess that they're concerned about damage to the top, and the potential for water entry into the cabin (the window seals do a good job of keeping out rain, but high pressure spray enters fairly easily.) I wouldn't take the chance. jdm -- ================================================================================ _ / Jeff Maurer, Sr. Analyst _ ___/ _ __ Service Applications, Sequent Computer Systems, Inc. / / / / / / Uucp: ...!uunet!sequent!jdm / /__/_/ / Internet: jdm@sequent.com __/ (503) 578-5062 "The whole wide world's an endless universe, yet we keep looking through the eyeglass in reverse."
