I did the same thing with mine about two weeks after I got it (early March). It was the first real boo-boo, and I was fairly upset with myself for making such a grave miata faux pas, especially when I put the top back up and noticed the same little kink in the center. Luckily, the kink seems to be getting smaller and smaller as the weather warms up and the car spends more time in the heat. So far, there's no clouding or other weirdness noticeable. I do find that my window zipper seems to be coming unstitched a bit. Since my crunch-the-window incident, I've been fairly conscious of zipping the window up before locking the top in place, etc. Seems like I should grab my sewing kit and nip it in the bud. I have a feeling that taking something like this to my dealer would just result in a lot of blank stares. Any others have this problem? Russ Croman (counting the days 'till...)
