Regarding folding the top down with the window still zipped, I've had a roll bar (Sport Auto's) in my '91 for about two years now. Such bars are required by some driving schools I attend. Anyway, I can't put the top down and unzip the window without creating a nice big "pocket" for the wind to grab. The two rear support bars on the roll bar prevent the window from lying flat. So I've been folding the top down with the window zipped, always being careful to make a smooth roll out of the window section as it folds. No problems so far with the plastic creasing or rubbing. (Except where my dear wife surprised me one winter morning by scraping the ice and snow off with a plastic scraper, but that's a different story. Oh well.) I never did like unzipping and re-zipping the thing anyway. The only drawback is that I can't put the top down from inside the car anymore. -Al
