Subject: Yokohama AVS-Intermediates vs. A509

I just talked to friendly tire man about buying some AVS-I's and he
suggested getting the A509's instead.  They are a bit cheaper ($30CDN)
and he says people have been getting at least as good performance motu
of them.  Any comments?  By the way, Steve Bruun's suggestion of
going to the AVS-I's 205/55-14 adds $60CDN onto each tire -- yikes!
Does anybody have any American pricing figures on:

  - AVS-I 185/60

  - AVS-I 205/55

  - A509 185/60
