I have the soft cooler by Atlantic Design.  I used it Saturday with the top down
for the first time.  My wife and I still had "Miata Hair".  I wouldn't buy it
for use as a windblock.  But I *do* like it as an extra storage area.  I left it
snapped in place for the entire winter when I had the hard top on.  For the 
summer, I only pop it in place (3 minutes) when I need to carry a couple of bottles
of wine or something.
