Re: Dolby As Andy mentioned, if the type is not stated there is generally Dolby B or *no* Dolby. The various types of Dolby (A,B,C) are variances of noise compression ratios and frequency ranges. For what it's worth, with the top down or windows open, you won't notice the difference! Just make sure you use good recording tape. Re: Consumer Reports and other Q's Not to be a butthead, but...the Comsumer Reports fee is only $11. Also remember that the dealer generally gets 5-10% off their cost when they pay their bills on time. The red interior is the limited edition, but most of the responses to it here and in Miataville are leaning towards a lack of enthusiasm in the color scheme. So, the red may be around for a while (kind of like the yellow was here in the midwest). The tan interior is a standard option now. Re: my query to an Indy Miata Anyone have a spare body? John Keating - maybe this could be a Balto based project car!? I could use my connections at the dealerships in the DC area to support the cause. :-) Re: my problems with the dealer They could care less that I'm an active member of the local, national, Internet, and CompuServe groups. Mainly because there are only two active Miata club people in Madison (more owners, they're just oblivious to our cause - we have tried to recruit them). I'm also afraid that a showing of the club would work against my cause and act as a publicity stunt for the dealer. They are the only dealer in this area without having to go to Milwaukee (90 minutes away). Oh well. -amp-
