Howdy, I've heard some mention that the "K & N" filter helps improve performance, presumably because it retards air flow less than the stock filter. How much do these K & N filters cost, and where do you find them? I ask because I might be replacing my air filter soon and as a rule try to avoid buying parts from the dealer. (Explanation: Who knows if it's Mazda, the dealer, or someone in between, but someone is marking up the prices of spares like crazy! Maybe this is typical for stuff that comes in boxes labeled with the name of a big, big foreign, or big Japanese carmaker, but equivalent parts from a local 'expensive' foreign car parts house are typically 50-70% the prices from the dealer.) _________________________________________________________________ James Miller -- developing Unix software at (!)
