(I've decided to post this to the Miata list as well as to all known Maryland owners, just in case I've missed anyone. People I know about will get this twice, once through my mailing list, and another through the miata mailing list. If you get it only get it once, and are interested, send me email and I'll add you to my list. If you got it twice, and really couldn't give a diddly-flip, email me and I'll remove you from my list. :^) From now on, any emailed local club notices will only go to those who are interested and to "new" people in the area who aren't on my list. What? Announcing the first meeating of the Maryland Area Miata Club! Why? We've now got about 10 people interested, and it seems like a good time to have a first meeting. It'll let us get acquainted and possibly catch a few other Miata owners while we are at it. Where? Centennial Park in Columbia, Maryland. I thought about reserving a pavilion, but after hearing the prices, decided picnic tables is closer to our current budget (i.e., $0.00 :) I'll get there a little early and try to latch onto an area. First choice is the South Entrance off of 108, but if I can't find a place there, I'll try the West Entrance off of Centennial Lane. Look for a red Miata with tags: ZLX-581. I'll try to flag down any Miatas I see. Please don't run over me... :^) How? See Map below. If the line drawings are incomprehensible, give me a call at (301) 317-7495 during the day or (410) 442-3285 in the eves. When? Saturday, 1 May 1993 at 11:00 AM. Bring a picnic lunch! ------ I-70 --------------------------------( N | ( Baltimore ^ |-xxxxx<-Cent | ( ) W<+>E Centennial Ln->|Wxxxxx Park | (_________) v | |S | | S --- 108 ----------------2------ | 9 I | - | 9 NSA ------- 32 -------------------|-----------------5----------- | | | | Also, note that the SCCA will be having races in the NSA parking lot on Sunday, 2 May 1993.
