Anyone try something like this in the > Miata? Sort of. At least, I used some tiny Infinity speakers (Reference Standard Kappa?) in my headrests. I'm not sure how they compare to the Mazda speakers or the Sony's, but they sound fine to me. I'm driving them with the output from the Sony cheap CD player, the CDX-4040; I drive the stock door speakers with a smallish Sony MOSFET amp. I'm going to get the Clearwater speakers for the door sometime, but the system sounds fairly good as it stands. Speaking of skipping, I get a fair amount from the Sony, but I have stiffer springs and sway bars, so I may not be a fair test. It's good practice, though; I've gotten pretty good at avoiding the Stensonite when I'm changing lanes on the highway. A skipping CD is sort of operant conditioning, I guess. dbk
