ok...
I don't know , at this time, what exactly happened ..
i was decellerating at about 10-15mph ..
 and the car just jerked to a stop and stalled ..
 ..
 So ..
 i started it up , in neutral.. and when i started forward .. there was a clater
clatter clatter .... i stopped at a store and when i came out , there was a1-2"dia
spot of diff lube/oil under the rear.
 i could see that it had come from the over-flo vent.
nayway ..
 i took it to maxda the next day ..
They said the rear would be ~$1100... .. i called mazda motorsport ..
 they said it was $1300..
 but i could get it for $788, since i am a memeber..
 by the way .. none of this includes the LABOR...

 i had NO forwarning !!!!!
 and believe me ..
 i  know EVERY sound my car makes ...she talks tooo me ..!!!
