Well, it's been here (Florida panhandle) for a while now; I think I had my soft top up a total of two weeks (yes, the heater works fine). Unfortunately the cheapie car cover I picked up at Wal-Mart lets pollen pass through like there's nothing on the car at all. I will have it up around August, though: here at the Redneck Riviera the temperature gets around 100F (and a similar number for the relative humidity); the terry-cloth seat covers my significant other made for me (with her own little hands!) can only absorb so much sweat; there are so many Georgia and Alabama bumpkins (ahem, no offense) cluttering the highway through town during peak tourist season that I can't count on going fast enough for evaporation to matter! Of course, I don't have the problems the folk down in southern Florida do: there you take your life into your hands driving *any* kind of car in certain parts of town. But according to Governor Chili-head Chiles, that's a tourist saftey problem, not a safety problem in general (we locals are on our own). -- Jim (moore@email.ncsc.navy.mil) Arthur: What is this test, o Knights of.....
